If you're reading this page and you haven't seen Joe and Kev live then get the gig list and do it! Distance no object! They are fantastic. I only wish the population of Hartlepool knew what they missed.

Hi Joe Just to let you know your appearance at the Swarb Aid event in Chatham was well appreciated, I thought Swarb was excellent, I did not expect him to be playing as much as he did, it was great to see him, with all the support from yourself and all the other musicians on the night, look forward to catching up with you at a gig in 2003. Best wishes for the future. Regards

Dear Joe, at the 20th December 2002 I saw you at the gig with "Aniada a Noar" and with "Kevin D." Your music and the way, as you play your violin fascinated me. I hope, you will come to Austria again!

Merry Christmas and a successful new year!

Went to Blaxton Live to see Joe and Kev on Sat 9/11/02. A BRILLIANT SET! The playing was impeccable and Kev's songs brought back the much missed Whippersnapper. Blaxton Live is a small but perfectly formed venue with audience to match, at this gig Joe worked the whole audience wonderfully. A fantastic night, thanks Joe and Kev. See you at Chesterfield.

I was sorry to hear about the demise of the Albions. Great news about the cd and tour with Ken Nicol though, a true "dream team". See you (and Kevin) at Nailsea.

Hey joe!
Didn't some tinpot band do a song something like the above exclamation?!?! I know I promeses to E-mail you and all but as annoying as it is, I had to leave a permenant stain on your otherwise spotless web-page!! If you think of what the query you had for me was, get in touch, or use it as an excuse to do another gig in this remote part of the Westcountry!!
All the best,
And BUY ONE OF MY FIDDLES!!

Joe,
Saw you in the line up at Feast of Fiddles in Tewkesbury last night. Loved it! Highlight of the evening was your solo with the drummer. Great stuff, really fresh and a pleasant change. As a consequence, purchased your CD and I am impressed. The three years are worth it.... don't be put off!! Your talent needs recording. Make sure you make more.
All the best
Ian

Superb night at the newly opened "Styvechale Folk Club" (hosted by the wonderful Mick Stuart).  Having forgotten just how good you and Kev were from the Godiva Festival last year, (too many fiddlers in too short a time!), tonight was a delight, especially the solo fiddle piece. Can't wait now for The Boggery!!

Hello Fiddlemeister,

Didn't you used to play something that looked like a chair leg? All the best for the new year and see you on the next Albion tour.

To hell with French baguettes! Haven't drunk much of that Hoegaarden stuff with my favourite "folk" fiddle player in a while. Get your backside up to the town that some people occasionally.........and very politely refer to as 'Preston'. And bring some money.

Didn't you used to play the electric French baguette?

All the best

Hi Joe

It was good to see you last night at St Agnes Fountain in Birmingham. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!  I feel all festive now and have bought a tree and put fairy lights in my windows!!!!

I've been looking at your tour dates and I think I will be able to make it to Leek in May and also the re-run of the Guildhall in Lichfield with hopefully Kellie this time! - See you there!

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

Like the website, especially the pictures! I haven't actually seen you in person but the CDs I've heard of you playing sound very impressive.

Hello Joe
sorry about it being uncool and all that but as your step -dad, at least that's what I think I am, thought I'd visit your guest book as the third person to sign it.  Not sure about your fiddle playing being up to much but I'm sure your composition skills are on a par with Lady Smith Black Mambaso what we saw last night at the Phil.

Hello -
Lovely site, I like all the black and white pictures! I should have the pictures from Harlow arriving soon so I'll send the best ones on. Get Ben to come and play with you at Hitchin again - I might even come round with a clipboard and ask you what you'd like to drink in the 'retail opportunity'! Let me know when Tunebook Vol. 2 is coming out - I need to learn the most recent 3 tunes!

Dear Joe,
Sorry about this, I know It's uncool and bad for the street cred and all that but having watched your empty guest book for ages I can't resist getting in first any longer. In my completely unbiased capacity,as your father,I'd like to claim to be your number one fan. That is as a fiddler,an entertainer,a human being,a friend and son. Lots of Love, Dad
